I didn’t realize how much it irked me when people flick off their cigarette ashes and toss out the bud outside the car windows while driving till I came up with a word for it: “Hae[i]rk”; pronunciation: \ˈhāərk\; function: noun; definition: someone or something that irks me.

Seriously though, I don’t think car manufacturers include ash trays in vehicles so the cigarette ashes and buds are thrown onto the road like that.  Plus, it’s setting up a very bad example for kids!
